What is a yamaha website member?

All visitors to the Yamaha Music Australia website have the opportunity to become a Yamaha member. This will enable you to move quickly through our check out process should you wish to shop with us frequently as we’ll keep your billing address on record to use in the future (we do not store any of your credit card details). You can also use your Yamaha membership to record and track your product warranty registration.

Card Security

How secure is my transaction?

Yamaha takes all reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are genuine.

The Yamaha Music Australia Online Store supplies you with a secure session within our shopping CHECKOUT. You will notice a padlock icon on the base of your browser when you enter through to the CHECKOUT. This indicates that all information entered in the session is secure.

How safe are my credit card details?

When you click the PLACE ORDER button, we send the credit transaction directly to the bank. We do not transfer those details to others for their commercial use. Unlike giving credit card details over the phone, our online system automatically encrypts all your details using the latest SSL encryption standard.

What credit cards can be used?

Yamaha Music Australia accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Is there a credit card surcharge?

Any purchases made via a credit card incur fees passed on to the Merchant by the provider. Yamaha Music Australia absorb the majority of the fees, however there is a 1% surcharge on the total purchase. This is marked as CCSURCHARGE and will appear on your invoice.

What happens if my computer crashes while I am processing my order?

If your computer freezes and you can not complete the order or you think your credit card has been debited incorrectly, please contact Customer Service on 1800 805 413.

Freight Charges and Delivery

Premium music product freight charges

Yamaha Music Australia offers very competitive freight rates all over Australia. Our products are shipped using Cope Sensitive Freight (www.cope.com.au) from our warehouse in Melbourne. Our freight charges have been simplified to ensure we can give a fixed quote at the time of order. The costs indicated below are regardless of weight or number of items ordered.

Unique merchandise freight charges

Yamaha Music Australia offers competitive freight rates all over Australia. Yamaha UNIQUE MERCHANDISE PRODUCTS are shipped using a courier bag from our warehouse in Melbourne. Our freight charges have been simplified to ensure we can give a fixed rate at the time of order. For all shipments of one (1) or two (2) UNIQUE MERCHANDISE PRODUCTS, a rate of $7.50 including GST will apply anywhere in Australia. For any shipments of three (3) or more products, a rate of $15 including GST will apply anywhere in Australia. When UNIQUE MERCHANDISE is ordered in conjunction with PREMIUM MUSIC PRODUCT, the freight for the PREMIUM MUSIC PRODUCT will be applied and you will not be charged an additional rate for UNIQUE MERCHANDISE.

Cope Sensitive Freight is one of the largest courier services in Australia. As they deliver thousands of products daily we are unable to give you specific delivery times for your products. Please refer to the table below for estimated transit time from Melbourne.

Missed deliveries

Yamaha Music Australia is committed to making sure you receive your stock quickly and simply. To help us achieve this, when entering your delivery details please ensure someone will be available to sign for your delivery. To avoid delays in delivery and extra freight charges it is a good idea to have your product/s delivered to your work address. Your product/s will not be delivered unless they can be signed for. If you miss a delivery and your items are returned to the freight depot the freight company will call and advise Yamaha and we will contact you. If this occurs you may be required to pay additional freight charges which may be up to but not exceeding the freight amount charged on your original order.

Returns and Exchanges - PREMIUM MUSIC PRODUCTS

Faulty item returns

Within the first month Yamaha Music Australia offers a “no questions asked” return policy on faulty products from the PREMIUM MUSIC PRODUCTS range. If an item is received faulty, please contact customer service on 1800 805 413. A Goods Return Pack containing consignment notes and an information sheet will be express posted to you. Any returns made where possible should be in their original packaging. Refunds are processed within 48 hours once the faulty product has been received by our warehouse. After the one month period has elapsed, your product will be subject to it’s normal warranty period. Warranty periods can be viewed on Yamaha Music Australia’s website: www.yamahamusic.com.au

Replacements

If a faulty product is received and a replacement is requested, providing Yamaha Music Australia has stock, a Goods Return Pack containing consignment notes and an information sheet will be express posted to you. All items must be returned in their original packaging. Your replacement product will be sent once the faulty product has been received by our warehouse.

Exchange policy

When shopping online please choose very carefully as Yamaha Music Australia does not offer an exchange policy.

Returns and Exchanges - UNIQUE MERCHANDISE

Yamaha Merchandise can be exchanged or returned if there is a manufacturing fault or if damaged in transit.

Yamaha Merchandise can be exchanged or returned if garments are the wrong size providing they have not been worn or used. Garments that have been worn or used will not be exchanged.

Yamaha Merchandise must be returned within 30 days from the date of invoice.

It is the responsibility of the consumer to provide suitable packaging (post pack bag/box) to return the Yamaha Merchandise.

A goods return form must be completed and attached to the goods being returned.

Canceled orders

All orders are subject to availability of stock. Yamaha reserves the right to cancel any order. In this case we will immediately notify the customer by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund any money paid using the original payment method received.
