Magnormos

As a theatrical production company based in Melbourne, Magnormos seeks to fill a void in musical theatre development in Australia - giving voice to unsung (or rarely sung) musical theatre material, and providing a variety of platforms for its further evolution.

For the past five years through two major performance projects: OzMade Musicals, and the Prompt Musicals program, Magnormos has committed to providing production support to new musical theatre with a specialised focus on the work of Australian writers.

Magnormos’ initiatives contribute to the foundations of Australian music theatre and its sustainability.

Yamaha Music Australia assists Magnormas by loaning them a Yamaha C3 grand piano for every show of their Prompt Musical season and OzMade Musicals. Yamaha also loans them electronic equipment for auditions when required.
